Price Tower visitors in mid-October will be transported back to
the time of famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright following the
scheduled renovation of the building's top three floors, 17 through
19.
This is a culmination of many decades of dreaming and envisioning,
said Richard Townsend, executive director of Price Tower Arts Center,
which is in Bartlesville. It will be as you are stepping back into
1956. We are restoring various elements so that you get the full
impact of what Frank Lloyd Wright wanted you to experience.
Considered one of the great buildings of the 20th century, Price
Tower was Wright's revolutionary experiment in the multi-use
