C.J. and Theodosea Silas of Bartlesville have received Wright
Spirit awards from the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy for
their efforts in reviving the Price Tower in Bartlesville, which is
now celebrating its 50th anniversary.
The honors mark individuals and organizations that "demonstrate
extraordinary efforts in the stewardship of Wright buildings or
furtherance of the Wright legacy." They were presented last month
during the conservancy's annual conference in Southfield, Mich.
The Price Tower, the only skyscraper designed by Wright, now
operates as a multi-faceted arts complex with a museum of art,
architecture and design; Wright-designed historic interiors; and a 21-
