I SAW Older Man again this week. To be honest, I wasn't sure that
I would see him in a romantic way again, but the offer of an evening
round at his with a bottle of Bolly got the better of me. Shameless,
I know, but at least I can't be described as cheap. That's what I
like to tell myself, anyway.
What's more, it's always nice when a man knows that a bit of
pasta in Strada isn't exactly my idea of a sophisticated date and
that I'm much more likely to be appreciative of a bottle of decent
champagne. One of the advantages of getting together with a friend
is that Older Man knows what makes me tick.
That said, one doesn't need to have known me since I was a
