Dear Heloise:
I am asking that you please print this for everyone who takes
pictures. My fiance's grandmother recently passed away, and among the
many things we inherited from her were numerous photos and a
beautiful old photo album. The photo album is at least 80 years old,
and it is obvious that someone spent a lot of money to have portraits
made for it. We only know who two people are in the entire album.
There are no names or dates.
So, please ask all of your readers to write names and dates on the
backs of all photos and include a caption. When your grandchildren
and great-grandchildren look through your photo albums years later,
they will know who the people are and will learn about ...
