A Our code of practice says exactly what and how properties should
be advertised. The description must be truthful and not mislead. The
Property Misdescriptions Act has resulted in much less flowery
descriptions being used for property than ever before. The Act
sometimes leads to information not being included. But estate agents
aren't obliged to volunteer information that is detrimental to the
selling of the property. An agent doesn't need to mention that the
three-bedroom house is next door ...
