Though it hardly seems like spring, major league baseball players
have already reported to Florida and Arizona for spring training.
There's still time to nab an airline ticket, pack some tanning lotion
and take in some preseason ballgames. But hurry. The first pitch will
be tossed out this Thursday, and you only have until the last out is
called on March 30.
WHERE: In Arizona, a dozen Cactus League teams -- including the
2002 World Series champion Anaheim Angels and the Chicago Cubs --
are clustered around Phoenix and Tucson. Several Phoenix stadiums are
within a 20-minute drive of one another.
