LANCE ARMSTRONG is set to take command as the Tour de France finally heads into the Pyrenees today.

Today's stage concludes with a tough uphill finish to the ski resort of La Mongie and tomorrow's finish at Plateau de Beille should provide an even sterner test.

Armstrong won in both La Mongie and Plateau de Beille two years ago to set up his fourth Tour victory.

This year, the Texan is again expected to find himself back in the leader's yellow jersey by the weekend, but predicted tomorrow will ultimately prove more important in the battle for overall ...
