A 12-YEAR-OLD girl has died from an asthma attack doctors believe may have been brought on by the summer storms.

Jemma Cox suffered a severe attack at her home in Peterborough.

Her death prompted charity Asthma UK to reiterate warnings to sufferers.

Research has shown stormy weather in summer can spread pollen, increasing the chance of a reaction for those with allergies.
