While allergy shots improve or cure more than eight out of 10
people suffering with hay fever or allergic asthma, and also may
prevent the development of complications, according to the American
Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, they're not for everyone.
You'll need to consult with your doctor before proceeding, but here
are some guidelines to know if shots may be indicated.
You may be a good candidate for allergy shots if:
you suffer from various allergies throughout the year, rather than
during just a brief season;
your symptoms are triggered by tree or grass pollen, animal fur,
bee stings, mold, dust or cockroaches;
