Finally Led Zeppelin has decided that the world is ready for a
whole lotta live.
On the 35th anniversary of their coming together in a rented
rehearsal studio in London, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul
Jones, the surviving members of Led Zeppelin, will cement their
reputation as one of the all-time great live bands with a typically
gargantuan gesture. Tuesday marks the simultaneous release of "Led
Zeppelin DVD," a 5 1/2-hour, double-disc, career-spanning, concert-
driven collection, and "How the West Was Won," a three-hour triple CD
combining two legendary 1972 California concerts. Each set contains
an entirely distinct group of songs.
