Mount Vernon Coach Dan Coast and the Majors will be without ace
pitcher, top hitter and National District Player of the Year Brooke
Sorber next season. But the Majors will have six juniors coming back,
including right fielder and cleanup hitter Melissa Jeffries,
shortstop Kristina Garrison and catcher K.C. Gulina. "This is a good
core of girls to work with," Coast said.
