Dude ranch uses horses, solitude to help heal wounds of Sept. 11

Guest Ranch in southwest Colorado, wanted to help. Through two dude
ranch trade associations, the couple designed the 9-11 Ranch Relief
Program, which offers free dude ranch vacations to families of
firefighters and police officers directly affected by the terrorist
attacks.

says. "We both grew up in Long Island, and we went back to visit in
October and saw the devastation."
