Inside the Navajo Hogan Roadhouse, a local rock band wails an ear-
numbing cover of Wilson Pickett's "Mustang Sally."
"All you wanna do is ride around Sally! Ride, Sally, Ride!!"
Outside, decibel levels are even higher, as the testosterone
machines growl through the parking lot.
"Don't blow your pipes, now," waitress M'Shell Wyatt says,
watching a motorcycle roar like a cranky dragon down North Nevada
Avenue and veer into the bar's parking lot. "Settle down."
"It's a Honda," bouncer Dan Ott sniffs beside her.
"It is NOT!" Wyatt says.
A moment later, they see that Ott was right. It's a Honda.
"He took out the baffles to sound like a Harley," Ott says.
