Mall security chief, guard accused of stealing

Police arrested the Chapel Hills Mall head of security and another security guard Friday in connection with the theft of $2,500 worth of watches from a mall kiosk.

Police did not release the names of the suspects, ages 31 and 64, although the report identified one as the mall's "head of security."

Police said the names aren't being released because the investigation is ongoing.

Authorities are investigating the mall security department, and more arrests could be made, Colorado Springs police Sgt. Jerry Steckler said.
