Hole-in-one golfer beats odds, wins a new BMW
In his role as president of Phil Winslow Volkswagen/BMW, Phil
Winslow has tried to give away more than 120 new cars over the years.
But he never had to turn over a set of keys - until recently.
Winslow's dealership offered a new 3 Series BMW to anyone who
could hit a hole-in-one at the Greater Colorado Springs Economic
Development Corp.'s golf tournament at Pine Creek Golf Club.
The odds were in Winslow's favor - only two other holes-in-one had
been made in the tournament's 15-year history.
But this year, Richard Harvey of A&R Services surprised everyone
at the tournament. His hole-in-one won him the Bimmer, worth about
$31,000.
