Article: Air Force's loss ends BCS hopes

The first Bowl Championship Series standings of the season came out Monday and Air Force wasn't in the elite 15, which was led by Oklahoma, Miami and Notre Dame.

The 21-14 loss to Notre Dame on Saturday night at Falcon Stadium did enough damage to deflate the lofty position of previously unbeaten Air Force.

Besides Notre Dame, no one from the non-BCS elite conferences is among the top15.
