MILDRED HOLSLAG
Mildred Holslag passed away on February 19, 2003, at Life Quality
Care Center in Colorado Springs. She was born in East Chicago, IN.,
on November 4, 1917 to Jacob Schmueser and Frances Runge. She grew up
in Calumet City, IN.
Mildred attended MacMurray, was a member of 10TA Chapter of Delta
Gamma, graduated from University Illinois, Champaign. She taught in
Denver from 1946 to 1965. She then moved to Colorado Springs in 1965,
and taught at Grant Elementary School.
Millie and Jack Holslag were married in Roswell, NM., on September
19, 1943.
She is survived by her husband Jack, children, Thomas Holslag and
Jane Holslag; grandsons, Garrett and Aaron Holslag.
