By the time the weekend is over, Colorado Springs and Oklahoma
will be familiar with each other.
The clubs played for a fifth consecutive time Friday as they
opened a four-game series at Sky Sox Stadium.
It took 11 innings before the RedHawks were able to pull out an 8-
7 victory in front of 2,777. Ryan Ludwick drove in the winning run
with a sacrifice fly off Brian Smith.
The Sky Sox led 7-0 after five innings. Manager Rick Sofield was
not pleased his team collapsed.
"That was a hard one," Sofield said. "We have a bullpen, and a
club, that should win a game like that."
Colorado Springs dropped to 32-28, having lost for the seventh
time in 10 games.
