Article: USADA reforms anti-doping efforts to alter world's opinion

The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency is housed in a coral-colored stucco building in a nondescript industrial park on Tenderfoot Hill Street in Colorado Springs.

There is no sign outside. But these days, the organization's name and reputation blares like neon.

USADA played a pivotal role in what might wind up as the biggest drug bust in sports history. In turn, USADA has started to fix the worldwide negative perception of U.S. anti-doping efforts.

"We still have a long way to go to get rid of the cynicism," said David Howman, director general of the World Anti-Doping Agency, a critic of U.S. antidoping. "This is a very giant step in that direction."
