Article: Jones gets USADA papers, still sticks to story

Track star Marion Jones, the five-time Olympic medalist, and her lawyers met with U.S. Anti-Doping Agency officials in a downtown Colorado Springs law office Monday.

The session was held at Jones' request after she challenged the Colorado Springsbased USADA to retest blood or urine samples to prove she is drug-free.

The meeting came in the midst of a widening doping scandal involving U.S. track and field athletes linked to Bay Area lab BALCO, whose owner, Victor Conte, has been indicted for allegedly distributing steroids to elite athletes.
