Air Force's football team plays Army for the Commander's Trophy,
and its hockey team circles its annual game against the Black
Knights. Fourteen Air Force sports teams will play against their
service academy rivals from West Point this season.
But though the Falcons' men's basketball team will play Navy for
the 24th time when the teams meet up at 7:05 p.m. today in Clune
Arena, Army has not been a part of the Air Force schedule since 1988.
"We have tried to play Army every single year but the game has
never been able to get scheduled," Air Force coach Chris Mooney said.
"I don't know why. Obviously I would think it would be natural
