Article: Border area: Black Forest or Falcon? Staying unincorporated another option

Falcon and Black Forest incorporation supporters are in a peaceful tug-of-war for the same slice of land.

The groups have drawn tentative boundaries for their proposed towns, overlapping an area of about four square miles. They've agreed to survey registered voters within the area to let them decide if they want to become part of Falcon or Black Forest, or remain an unincorporated area.

Neither community has committed to incorporating, so it's no surprise the idea has not inspired the natives. Several of them said the prospect isn't enticing, but if forced to choose, they'd become part of Black Forest.
