Article: Black Forest incorporation draws questions Unlike heated Falcon meetings, residents gather to listen

Most of the nearly 170 Black Forest residents at the community's first public meeting on incorporation came to listen.

The reception for the idea was opposite from what Falcon residents gave a similar proposal. Recent meetings in Falcon about incorporation have been tense, often dissolving into arguments and accusations about the motivations of some of the proponents.

The two towns are at different stages of the incorporation process.

Falcon's committee tentatively plans a November vote on the question. The Black Forest group is months away from finishing a study that will outline the pros and cons of becoming a town.
