The Black Forest Options Committee will present the results of its
incorporation study at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Black Forest
Community Club.
The volunteer committee, assigned by the Black Forest Community
Club to study the issue, will recommend whether to pursue
incorporating the rural northern El Paso
County community.
Although the community club isn't taking a stand on the issue,
President Eddie Bracken said he likes the idea. Bracken said county
commissioners aren't adhering to the Black Forest Preservation Plan,
a document written by Black Forest residents and filed with the
county as a planning guide.
