ENGLEWOOD - Andre Patterson still likes what he sees from the Denver Broncos defensive line, even though the unit's production has decreased.

The assistant defensive line coach said opponents are trying to protect the quarterback with extra help from the running backs and tight ends, and he thinks the linemen have done well applying pressure considering the efforts to slow them.

"They keep a tight end and a back in and you got seven guys blocking against four," Patterson said. "When they do that, that means they respect what you're doing up front. I have no disappointment in the way the guys are rushing the passer and playing."
