The new Bigg City Lanes bowling alley at Mr. Biggs Family Fun
Center is just flat-out weird.
Imagine walking into a bowling alley and not stepping on old
chewing gum or smelling stale smoke.
Picture a swanky, high-tech, smoke-free 16-laner with a VIP area
where you and your buddies can sip a fine merlot before trying to
pick up that spare.
You call this a bowling alley?
Co-owner Steve Bigari does, and he thinks it's just what the
family fun center needs to expand its appeal.
"Ask kids what the coolest place to go is, and they'll say, 'Mr.
Biggs.' We want adults to feel the same way," he says.
By making the alley smoke-free, Mr. Biggs is rolling with a
national trend.
