Here is the typical American garage: bicycles leaning against the
walls, garden tools ready to trip the unwary, sports equipment piled
helter-skelter, woodwork tools mounded in corners, inherited
furniture piled to the ceiling, oil stains covering the floor.
Then there's Mike Sabo's garage, a $10,000 room so handsome it's
hard to call it a garage. It's better organized and cleaner than most
kitchens, and people notice.
Sabo has been customizing his snazzy, sunset-hued Nissan 350Z in
the garage of his home near Memorial Hospital. "When people come to
visit, they say, 'Gee, nice car, but reallllly nice garage.'"
