Article: BRIEFLY ON THE SIDE

Special meals

Here's a new twist on the make-and-take meal business pioneered by the likes of Dream Dinners and Supper Solutions: It's Ceres' Kitchen at 9475 Briar Village Point in the Pine Creek Village Shopping Center, and it's geared toward people with food allergies.

Sharon Bivins opened the business at the behest of her 12-year- old granddaughter, who has food allergies. The meals are about 98 percent gluten free, and most are made with organic foods. All meals are labeled to indicate whether they're vegetarian; contain lactose, nuts or gluten; or if they are free of these ingredients.
