Reynolds, John A. "Red"
Red entered heaven at age 90 on December 1, 2006 from his
birthplace in Merrill, Wisconsin. He was born December 30, 1915 to
John M. and Wilhelmina (Danfield) Reynolds, graduated from Merrill
Senior High School in 1933, and from Central State Teachers College,
now known as the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, in 1936.
Red played the alto saxophone in the high school marching band and
also several dance bands. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from
1943 until his honorable discharge in 1946. Red married Jane M. Jung
and cherished 40 years of marriage until her death in 1981. Fate was
