The merger of First Bartlesville Bank into BancFirst has been
completed.
First Bartlesville Bank had $44 million in assets, $38 million in
deposits and $5.5 million in equity capital. The acquisition will
enhance the presence of BancFirst in northeastern Oklahoma.
BancFirst Corp., based in Oklahoma City, completed the purchase
of First Bartlesville in August.
BancFirst Corp. also completed the sale of Century Life Assurance
Co. to American Underwriters Life Insurance Co. It owned 75 percent
of Century. The other 25 percent interest was owned by Pickard
