JUST looking at this photo cheers us up (but not nearly as much
as a visit would). The vibrant Compass Point in Nassau, Bahamas, has
just joined Chris Blackwell's Island Outpost collection of Caribbean
hotels after a refurb since closing four years ago.
Artists such as Bob Marley, U2 and Shakira have recorded at
Compass Point Studios and Joss Stone has spent the past three months
recording her new album there.
Due to open in the New Year, Compass Point Hotel will consist of
18 waterfront huts (actually, they're two-storey cottages and single
caba"as) literally splashed with colour - purple, blue, orange and
yellow.
The interiors are more subdued, with natural wood floors,
whitewashed ...
