Article: Bride's Discovers Gay Weddings, But Plays It a Little Too Straight

Believe it or not, Bride's magazine has made history.
In its September-October issue, Bride's published an article on --
brace yourself, America -- gay weddings. The article has been on
newsstands for a month now and, amazingly, Western civilization has
not collapsed.
The Bride's article was such a groundbreaking, earthshaking event
that its appearance was covered in the New York Times. "This is the
first time that any of the five top-selling bridal magazines has
published such a feature," the Times reported.
After seeing that, I ran right out and bought Bride's and read the
story. I was shocked. I was appalled. I was disgusted.
I wasn't shocked, appalled or disgusted about gay marriage. ...
