DeAngelo Hall has been clocked over 40 yards in an astonishing
4.15 seconds. Even though Virginia Tech coaches acknowledge the
surface he was timed over is speed-friendly, that world-class time
links Hall to the cornerback he also resembles in size but exceeds in
versatility, former Washington Redskin and likely future Pro Football
Hall of Famer Darrell Green.
"One of my heroes," Hall said.
Hall is too young -- he won't turn 20 until mid-November -- to
recall that when Redskins coach Joe Gibbs absolutely had to have a
