As the longest-serving chief administrative officer in Prince
George's County history, I've often had to grit my teeth when reading
the work of reporters, columnists or editorial writers at your paper.
Never in my time, however, have I ever read anything so insulting as
the Valentine's Day shot across the bow written by columnist Marc
Fisher ["Unlimited Leadership Opportunities," Metro]. He must feel
quite courageous sniping from his lofty perch overlooking 15th Street
in Northwest Washington. But he doesn't know Prince George's County.
Prince George's County is the only county in America in which
income and education levels went up and not down when it went from
majority white to majority ...
