Alawyer at a loss for words? I was having trouble getting my head
around that concept, I must confess. But "Call Me Mort" said he had
just had a visitor who left him tongue-tied and clueless.
"He's a partner in my law firm," Mort told me, his voice about
half of Adult Usual (he was trying not to be overheard).
"He came in to see me. He told me that I've been upsetting some of
the staff because I often don't wear a tie to work."
Mort stipulates that the charges are true (Please help me, Lord --
I've been writing about a lawyer for four paragraphs and I'm starting
to sound like one). He says the partner-visitor ought to realize why
Mort goes tieless.
