With a comfortable lead in the final minutes of Stone Bridge's 3- 0 victory over Heritage in a AA Dulles District boys' soccer game Tuesday night, Bulldogs Coach Randy May cracked a smile while continuing to shout instructions to his players.

For a coach used to winning, Stone Bridge's convincing triumph was a show of progress worth grinning about. After finishing 7-7-3 last season, the Bulldogs improved to 2-0 under May, who took over this season after leading West Springfield to three AAA state championships in the last four seasons.
