Article: Cupola to Be More Than a Symbol; Officials Support Effort to Rebuild Tie to Manassas's Past

It is the ghost of Old Town Manassas, visible only on police shoulder patches, official letterhead and the city seal. The City Hall cupola is practically everywhere except where it is supposed to be -- atop the old City Hall.

No one seems to remember exactly what happened to it or when, other than it hasn't been up there for a long while.
