`Why can't Jesse wake up like everyone else?" asks the little sister
of the besieged teenager in "A Nightmare on Elm Street, Part 2,"
after yet another bloodcurdling scream from his bedroom has
interrupted a peaceful breakfast downstairs.
The answer, of course, is because his dreams are being invaded
by the bogeyman, aka Freddy Krueger, just as the teenage girl ...
