It's a measure of how full Chicago's classical music scene is to
realize that four of the five stellar principals in this recently
released "Requiem" video from the Edinburgh International Festival
have appeared recently in Chicago.
Soprano Margaret Price was a silvery voiced Desdemona earlier
this season in Lyric Opera's "Otello," and mezzo Jessye Norman
earned well-deserved cheers at her Orchestra Hall recital in early
