LOS ANGELES In the tradition of such great con artists as Robert
Vesco, Billy Sol Estes, Professor Harold Hill in "The Music Man" and
W. C. Fields, who never met a sucker he couldn't break, NBC invites
the American public to attend a nice little scam that unfolds at 8:30
p.m. Thursdays on WMAQ-Channel 5.
That's when Harry Anderson of "Night Court" mystifies and
hypnotizes the viewer into believing he really is an actor, proving
that a good agent is sometimes quicker than the eye.
What? Sweet, lovable Harry Anderson, Judge Harold T. Stone of
"Night Court," is pulling off a con on the American public?
