All that remains of Charlie Sheen's ambition to be the next
Cincinnati shortstop is a Reds beer mug he uses for drinking coffee.
All that remains of his criminal career is a memory of 15 hours in a
holding cell. All that remains of his life as a student is a blank
space on the wall where his diploma from Santa Monica High School
should be.
Sheen, 20, has narrowed his options to acting, a career that was
good enough for his father, Martin Sheen, and for his brother, Emilio
Estevez. After a few supporting roles, the youngest Sheen boy now
co-stars in "Lucas," which opened Friday at local movie theaters.
