Article: `Trojan War' becomes a lost TV series

In Search of the Trojan War (STAR) Host and writer Michael Wood Produced and directed by Bill Lyons. Will air over PBS, WTTW-Channel 11, for six weeks from 7 to 8 p.m. Sundays, starting today, through June 29. Public television is one of those entities that occasionally likes to shout, "We reserve the right to be boring and laborious!"

Beginning this Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. and for the next five weeks, PBS will exercise that right again and again and again with "In Search of the Trojan War." This is the PBS answer to "Al Capone's Vault": six weeks of Turkish ruins, described grain by grain in the well-modulated tones of host and writer Michael Wood.
