Want your fellow workers to think you are the sharpest kid in
the office? Tote a box of baking soda to work. Automatic
coffeemakers that are brewing almost constantly need cleaning. All
you have to do is to pour a baking soda-water solution into the
reservoir of the coffee maker and allow the machine to go through its
regular cycle. Repeat the cycle using plain water. You'll be doing
your pals a big favor with the fresh flavor of coffee made in a
squeaky-clean machine.
When scouring burned or baked-on food in pots or pans, sprinkle
