Sally Quinn, journalistic superstar, failed TV anchorperson and
social celebrity in the Washington whirl, has written a novel about
life at the apex of power in a capital that self-consciously calls

This is Sally Quinn's first novel, but not her first book or her
first flier at fiction. The first book, We're Going to Make You A
