Every now and then, it's good exercise to prowl some unfamiliar territory with your camera just to see what you can find.

The territory can be physical, like a pleasant vacation spot, an abandoned factory or the swanky or run-down houses on the other side of town. Or it can be psychological or sociological: You might go out looking for pictures that speak of alienation, greed, fear, joy, cooperation, injustice - you name it.
