Q. I am 34, male, and have had a successful career in sales in
the Southeast. I am interested in relocating to the West Coast next
year and would like to know how I would go about getting into the
field of selling franchises? - D.T.W.
A. Jerry Wilkerson is one of the few recruiting professionals
who knows a great deal about the little-known career field of
franchise sales. His firm, Franchise Recruiters Ltd., specializes in
executive recruitment for companies that franchise; before that,
Wilkerson was an executive with a trade association for franchising
