Article: `Ivan the Terrible' trial starts in Israel

JERUSALEM John Demjanjuk, accused of being "Ivan the Terrible" who operated the gas chambers at Treblinka death camp in Nazi-occupied Poland during World War II, went on trial here yesterday for mass murder, genocide and crimes against the Jewish people.
