`There comes a time in every man's life, when he gets tired of
fooling around," sings Prince on the surprising "Forever in my Life,"
one of the highlights of an album that is filled with surprises.
The two-record "Sign o' the Times" is scheduled to hit the stores
early this week, and it shows that Prince has rebounded confidently
and completely from "Under the Cherry Moon," last year's cinematic
debacle. The album is a one-man show, a tour de force, and a
confirmation that pop's former prodigy has come of age.
