Combine a little imagination with plywood, staples, glue, fabric
and a pre-cut sheet of glass and you've got a custom-made dining
table "wrapped" in pleated cloth.
It's a way to have a designer look without spending a lot of
money. The construction job is a simple one, but it requires two
people in the final stages.
The key to customizing any room is imagination, said Terry
Sheck, general manager of Jean-Lee Design, an interior design and
merchandising company in Buffalo Grove.
The dining table is one of the accents the company built for a
model at the Easthamptons, a development of 150 town houses that
Centex Homes Enterprises is building in Elk Grove Village.
