Ever drive past a house and long to lift the roof for a peek
inside?
Thousands of people will be able to gaze to their heart's
content into the model town house Pulte Homes Corp. built in the
middle of Woodfield Mall.
Pulte, one of the Chicago area's major home builders, left the
roof off over most of the major rooms, so shoppers on the upper
levels of the mall can look right in. They also can descend to
ground level and walk through the house, investigating every closet
and cranny.
The house, on display through June 28, is a showcase both for
the Esprit model Pulte is building in the west and northwest suburbs
this year, and for home furnishings and other goods of merchants in
